Job summary

GE Aerospace's Airfoils facility in Greenville is seeking a Production Control Leader (1st Shift). You will oversee daily operations on the production line, coach and supervise hourly staff, and drive safety, quality and delivery improvements.

This role requires scheduling resources, providing technical and people leadership, and collaborating across Engineering, Quality, Materials, Maintenance and Operations to meet customer requirements while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and monitor production plans to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Provide direct supervision and people management for hourly production employees, including coaching and performance management.
• Coach and supervise hourly production employees to build capability and growth.
• Drive a safe shop floor culture with emphasis on safety, quality, delivery and engagement.
• Coordinate resource allocation and collaboration with production teams to meet targets.
