Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Manufacturing Production Worker for the 1st shift in Waconia, MN. You will load/unload parts for anodizing, perform quality checks, and follow production schedules in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include using hand tools, inspecting parts before and after anodizing, and assisting with packing and material handling. This onsite role offers competitive pay and room for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience in machine operation or production.
• Experience with general assembly tasks in manufacturing.
• Comfort with hand tools and basic shop equipment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production requirements and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load aluminum parts onto anodizing racks with proper spacing and secure attachment to ensure consistent treatment.
• Unload finished parts from racks and perform basic quality checks to confirm there is no damage.
• Follow work orders and production schedules to keep parts moving through the anodizing process on time.
• Inspect parts before anodizing for defects, contamination, or racking issues and report any concerns.
• Inspect parts after anodizing to verify quality, correct placement, and absence of visible defects.
• Use hand tools and basic measuring instruments to assist with loading, securing, and verifying parts.
• Perform packing and packaging tasks to prepare finished parts for shipment or further processing.
• Support general assembly and material handling activities, including loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in a wet and hot production environment.
