Job summary

Thompson/Center Arms in Springfield, MA is seeking a 1st Shift Preventative Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing facility. You will perform PMs on CNC and other machinery, identify worn components, and assist technicians to prevent downtime.

The ideal candidate has high school diploma, is mechanically inclined, can read and interpret English, hold a DOT card and forklift license, and is available for shifts and overtime. Competitive hourly pay $32.19.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent with manufacturing experience.
• Must read, write and interpret English.
• Must possess valid DOT card and forklift license.
• Willing to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Experience with preventive maintenance on large equipment.

Responsibilities

• Engage in preventive maintenance of all machinery; fluid changes, filter changes, cleaning, troubleshooting and PM.
• Identify and replace worn components before mechanical breakdown.
• Maintain preventative maintenance readings on all equipment.
• Assist technicians or mechanics as needed.
• Perform Ball bar testing on CNC equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and records for PMs.
