Job summary

Onward Search is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician for a temporary role on our client's manufacturing team. The technician will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve CNC lathes and machining centers while supporting facility maintenance across multiple locations.

Typical first-shift hours run 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role requires 5+ years of industrial maintenance and CNC equipment experience, with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
5+ years maintaining and repairing CNC equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Experience wiring and troubleshooting industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on CNC lathes and machining centers.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
Conduct machine tear-downs, rebuilds, and electrical wiring tasks.
Use schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to identify root causes of equipment problems.
Coordinate with OEMs and outside vendors to resolve complex equipment issues.
