Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician on 1st Shift to perform PM tasks, coordinate downtime with production, and work with the Maintenance Supervisor to develop effective PMs.

The role requires reading mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams, 3–5 years PM maintenance experience, and strong diagnostic skills to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• 3-5 years PM maintenance technician experience.
• Ability to read/mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Capable of diagnosing equipment malfunctions and returning to operation.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication, calibration, cleaning, and part replacement as needed.
• Input repair actions into the maintenance program as they occur.
• Prioritize machine PM actions for assigned area.
• Use test/diagnostic equipment to perform PMs.
• Document work done in the maintenance system.
• Maintain spare parts inventory to complete PMs.
