Job summary

Cargill is seeking a full-time plant sanitation associate for the 1st shift in our Kansas facility. The position offers competitive compensation at $23.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will detail-clean assigned plant areas, maintain sanitation records, and operate cleaning equipment with safety and GMP compliance as priorities. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform physical job duties including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Detail clean all assigned area of the plant.
• Record and maintain sanitation records and sign off on completed projects on the master sanitation schedule.
• Work safely with cleaning chemicals used at the plant.
• Use bio-mist unit to sanitize areas of the plant.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work on projects independently.
• Make suggestions for continuous improvement in the plant.
• Follow all safety procedures and GMP requirements in the plant.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
