Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking a Department Lead for Paint, Pack and Ship at its Prior Lake facility on the 1st shift. You will direct daily activities, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and provide coaching to team members.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, operating finish and packaging equipment, and guiding the shift to meet production goals. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably paint or shipping.
• Previous leadership or lead experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily 1st shift activities within Paint, Pack & Ship to meet production goals for safety, quality and on-time delivery.
• Provide direction, training, and support to team members.
• Ensure all processes meet ISO 9001:2015 standards and MIRATECH procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation including inspection, certification and shipping records.
• Operate and oversee use of paint equipment, packaging tools, saws, nail guns, cranes and PCs for order fulfillment.
• Monitor and perform routine maintenance of warehouse and paint equipment.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization across all work areas.
• Act as the point of contact for shift performance issues and communications with leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
