Job summary

Great Plains Mfg in Salina, KS is seeking a 1st shift Painter/ Paint Line Person to support our new Kubota Construction Equipment paint line. The role follows a Monday-Thursday schedule 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime on Fridays.

You will load lines, prep parts, inspect finishes and pack parts for delivery while complying with Great Plains and OSHA safety rules. Prior paint experience is a plus but not required, and strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting or production lines desirable but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and use tape measures.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Load paint lines safely to meet daily production targets.
• Prep unfinished parts for final topcoat.
• Unload painted parts and ensure correct identification.
• Inspect finished parts for defects.
• Pack painted parts for shipping.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Adapt to various paint line duties.
