Job summary

Klondike Cheese Co. is seeking a 1st shift Assistant Packaging Supervisor to help lead daily packaging operations in our manufacturing facility.

You will coordinate packaging staff, oversee setup and operation of equipment, and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, safety, and quality standards. The role requires strong communication, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and experience with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of department operations and procedures in manufacturing.
• Experience supervising/leading a packaging or manufacturing team.
• Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists in daily operational activities of the packaging department and guides the team.
• Coordinates daily work and ensures timely completion of production tasks and paperwork.
• Oversees setup and operation of equipment for efficient operation.
• Monitors staff performance and enforces safety, quality, and process standards.
• Coaches employees and participates in performance reviews and cross-training.
