Job summary

Agropur, inc. in Jerome, ID is seeking a Cheese Packaging Lead to supervise the Cheese Packaging Department, train packagers, and support automation and maintenance efforts.

This role ensures packaging procedures are followed, production stays on schedule, and changes are handled efficiently. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a related field, with a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a strong ability to read and follow GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, and HACCP documents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a related field required.
• Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Oversee Cheese Packagers and the operation of the Cheese Packaging Department.
• Train Cheese Packagers on proper procedures concerning packaging and cleaning within the department.
• Assist plant automation and mechanics to troubleshoot production problems and provide support to operators and management.
• Ensure production stays on time and manage production changes as they arise.
