Job summary

Axogen is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the shop floor at our Processing Center. You will oversee day-to-day production, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and mentor a diverse team of technicians and operators.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on problem solving, and a working knowledge of cGMP and manufacturing processes. Working 1st shift, you will drive continuous improvement and uphold Axogen's commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, 3+ years in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA regulated preferred).
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience leading and coaching teams and individuals.
• Aptitude for understanding process technology and packaging equipment.
• Flexible, adaptable to changing conditions to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees and contractors engaged in production and support functions for a tissue biologic product in compliance with cGMP and regulations.
• Leads the work team, manages daily operations, ensures safety guidelines, SOPs, and production schedules are met.
• Relays new or revised policies and processes to shift leads and personnel promptly.
• Assesses and records training; works with leadership to close gaps and ensure compliance.
• Assists Senior Supervisor/Manager to hire, transfer, and promote staff.
