Job summary

Sharp Services, LLC seeks a Supervisor, Operations for the 1st shift in Allentown to lead packaging and production teams. You will supervise 20–60 employees, ensure safety, coordinate tasks, and drive on-time production against schedules.

You will monitor performance, suggest efficiency improvements, maintain records, and collaborate with other supervisors to optimize operations in a life science packaging environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Study production orders to ascertain type and quantity of product and other packaging requirements.
• Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
• Interpret specifications and job orders to workers, and assign duties.
• Observe packaging operations.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
