Job summary

UPM in Hamilton, OH is seeking a team member to support continuous improvement and the distribution of specialty metals. This on-site role runs Mon-Thu 5:00 am - 3:30 pm with a starting wage of $20-24/hr, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

You will handle forklift/crane operations, inventory control, and order processing while maintaining tolerances. Benefits include health and dental premiums, no eye premium, PTO, paid holidays, 401k match, and additional perks like tuition

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a forklift and crane safely.
• Experience with inventory control and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from Operators.
• Operate forklift and crane; perform basic material handling.
• Assure inventory levels and pull material from stock.
• Process orders and check tolerances.
• Package material and prepare orders for shipment.
• Return unused material to inventory and manage space.
• Maintain housekeeping and organize workspace.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Starting Wage: $20-24 depending on experience

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 90-days

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Following directions from Operators
• General fork truck operator & crane operations & basic material handling
• Assures sufficient supply of goods/inventory control
• Pull material from stock
• Process orders
• Check all specified tolerances
• Package material
• Prepare order to be shipped
• Return unused material to inventory
• Manage space by consolidating material
• Housekeeping
