Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking a MRT Batch Maker to mix solvents and dry chemicals per batch tickets. A $1,000 Sign-On Bonus is offered. The role involves weighing ingredients, tending equipment, and ensuring quality of dispersion batches.

No prior experience may be required, but manufacturing/filling experience is preferred. Strong math, basic reading, and ability to work with minimal supervision are valued in a fast-paced paint facility environment.

Qualifications

• No prior manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in filling area strongly preferred.
• Good math and measurement skills required.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills required.
• Ability to work without continuous supervision.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and/or measure specific quantities of varying ingredients in proper sequence and proportions.
• Tend mixing or compounding equipment and maintain control over time, heat, pressure, color or other variables.
• May perform blending, filtration, drying, grinding or related operations.
• May test according to prescribed procedures and specifications.
• Maintain batch, time weight, color, pressure, heat production and/or other records.
