TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Microsection Operator to join our high-production manufacturing team in Sterling, VA. You will read shop travelers, set up and operate machinery (including automated grinders, microscopes, and inspection equipment), and maintain accurate quality data across processes.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience. Ability to lift 10–40 pounds, work overtime, and follow safety protocols is essential for

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend English written instructions and shop orders.
• Maintain a quality-centered mindset with attention to detail.
• Work well in a team and independently as needed.
• Demonstrate manual dexterity and coordination for machine tasks.
• Use basic computer software to update records and enter data.
• Read/write/communicate in English to perform the job.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as required.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand the shop traveler, orders, and customer specs.
• Set up and operate various department machines per procedures.
• Evaluate product quality and ensure procedures are followed.
• Verify completion of prior operations and confirm quantity/quality.
• Record defects and report issues to management/engineering.
• Document data on orders and in computer systems.
• Prepare materials, keep area clean, and follow safety rules.
• Follow PPE and chemical handling rules per EHS guidelines.
• Report accidents or safety concerns promptly.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
