Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Madison, WI, seeks a Medical Device Assembler for a first-shift role. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a temp-to-hire pathway and no weekend work.

Training is provided, in a clean, temperature-controlled environment, assembling optical and medical components. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to handle small parts, and proficient in reading written instructions in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with small parts and hand tools.
• Read, write and communicate in English for safety and production documentation.
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production or optical experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small optical components and parts.
• Use small hand tools and quality measurement devices.
• Inspect your work to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Follow GMP, ISO and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Safely operate production equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks.
