Job summary

Hub Group is seeking a Material Operator to support receiving, put-away, picking, loading, unloading and shipping of products using material handling equipment. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and productivity to meet company standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience operating material handling equipment, familiarity with RF scanners and WMS, and strong math and communication skills. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience operating material handling equipment (electric pallet jack or similar).
• Experience with RF scanners and WMS systems preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.
• Strong reading/writing and math calculation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick orders and perform receiving, put-away, loading, unloading and shipping.
• Operate material handling equipment safely to meet productivity and security standards.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity while upholding safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent related experience.
• Previous experience with material operating equipment (minimum 1 year with electric pallet jack and/or a minimum of 1-3 years with other material operating equipment).
• Previous experience using RF Scanner and WMS systems preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, leads, supervisors, and/or manager as to progress in tasks/functions being performed.
• Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication.

Pay: $20/hr
