Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking a Shipping - Receiving - Warehouse worker for our McKinney, TX site. This hourly role focuses on packaging, staging, and loading units for shipment, while ensuring on-time delivery per sales orders.

The position requires forklift experience (sit-down and reach), basic computer skills, and ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Safety, QA compliance, and accurate inventory practices are essential to daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–5 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to read and write legibly in English.
• Must be able to speak in English via a two-way radio.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Forklift experience required - sit-down and reach truck.
• Computer skills and knowledge of MRP systems preferred.
• Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Band, shrink-wrap and stage units for shipment, and load staged units onto truck.
• Transport units from assembly to shipping area.
• Follow shipping and packaging work instructions.
• Follow sales order dates to ensure on-time delivery goals are met.
• Pick and pack UPS shipments.
• Process all dunnage including scrap pallets and returns.
• Check hot sheet daily and report inventory discrepancies.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
• Keep machine and work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Comply with the Quality Management System.
• Regular attendance and other duties as assigned.

  Transport units from assembly to shipping area
  Follow shipping and packaging work instructions
  Follow sales order by dates to ensure on time delivery goals are met
  Pick and pack UPS shipments
  Process all dunnage to include scrap pallets and returnable
