Crescent Paper Tube is currently recruiting candidates for a motivated first shift material handler with a desire to learn our business. This position requires the individual to be CPT forklift operator certified and physically fit to permit individuals to get up and down from the forklift up to 100 times in a shift as well as constant motion between the up and down activity. There are also lifting requirements of materials weighing up to 60 pounds.

Qualities Required:

• Shelf-Driven: Working from a list of tasks, this position works independently to accomplish daily requirements.
• Dependability: Meeting customer requirements and striving for 100% punctual attendance.
• Organization: Responsible for maintaining clean, neat, and properly staged materials at all times.
• Communication: Coherent verbal and written communication between shifts is essential.
• Detail-oriented: Capable of reading, understanding, and following all instructions on shipping paperwork and production orders to ensure mistake-free operations.
• Safety awareness: All employees are trained in safety procedures and are expected to abide by all safety rules and work safely.
