Job summary

NOVAE LLC in Markle, Indiana seeks a 1st shift Maintenance Technician 2 to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment following safety and operation guidelines.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical problems, wiring and plumbing work, coordinating with the Maintenance Manager, and ensuring a safe, organized workspace. A 2-year minimum industrial maintenance background and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, work orders, and blueprints.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Experience with electrical systems (480v/240v/120v) and PLCs preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and conduct unscheduled repairs.
• Read manuals, orders, and blueprints to complete repairs.
• Coordinate parts and maintenance work with the Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and comply with PPE requirements.
• Support other areas as needed.
