Job summary

Danfoss in Searcy, Arkansas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our first shift. This role supports plant operations by repairing and maintaining production equipment across the site, troubleshooting faults to minimize downtime, and helping keep lines running at peak efficiency throughout the shift.

You will read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings, interpret schematics, and use hand and power tools safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
• Two (2) years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical or electronic systems a preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electronic/hydraulic drawings, schematics, and engineering blueprints to determine problem root causes and implement corrective actions
• Ability to read precision measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, Levels, and Lasers a plus
• Physically capable of prolonged standing and working in positions that require bending and stretching while performing maintenance tasks
• Available to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to diagnose faults
• Observe and test machinery operation to diagnose malfunctions
• Analyze machine error messages and operator input to determine root causes
• Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system components
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Follow all safety rules, PPE and OSHA
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and repairs as assigned
• Complete required reporting and documentation
