Job summary

Abbott Nutrition division in Casa Grande, Arizona seeks an Engineering Technician (Maintenance) for 1st shift. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, review preventive maintenance, and write specifications and procedures for facilities and processes in your area.

The role requires experience with drives, I/O devices, HMIs, and ladder logic (Allen‑Bradley and Modicon). You will lead project tasks, ensure safety, and support certification and commissioning activities while interfacing with

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years with industrial utilities or electrical/mechanical systems.
Minimum 3 years related experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Good verbal communication and technical writing.
Diplomacy in leadership and direction of other employees is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and assist in repairs of equipment, instrumentation, and processes.
Review spare parts and preventive maintenance programs; write specs and procedures.
Plan, coordinate, install, and perform checks for equipment and processes.
Act as technical resource for plant and division interactions.
Develop experiments to test new and existing processes and equipment.
