Job summary

Abbott Nutrition in Casa Grande, AZ is seeking a skilled technician to troubleshoot and repair equipment, review specifications, and support preventive maintenance programs across the plant.

The candidate should have 2+ years in industrial utilities or electrical/mechanical systems, read engineering drawings, and maintain compliance with safety standards, OSHA and FDA policies. This is an on-site role with opportunities to work on state-of-the-art processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working with industrial utilities systems or industrial electrical/mechanical systems.
• Must demonstrate mental alertness and a thorough knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical and instrumentation principles.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings.
• Good verbal communication and technical writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and assist in repairs of all equipment, instrumentation, and processes in the area of responsibility.
• Review, recommend, and write specifications and procedures for all equipment, processes and facilities in the areas of responsibility.
• Plan, coordinate, install and perform operational checkouts for all equipment and processes in the assigned area of responsibility.
• Act as a technical resource for plant and Division interactions.
• Develop statistical and technical experiments to test and analyze new and existing processes, equipment and facilities.
