Qualifications

• Must demonstrate mental alertness and knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical and instrumentation principles.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings.
• Good verbal communication and technical writing ability.
• Diplomacy in leadership and direction of other employees is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and assist in repairs of equipment, instrumentation, and processes.
• Review and write specifications and procedures for equipment, processes and facilities.
• Coordinate installation and operational checkouts for equipment and processes.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/OSHA and Abbott policies.
