Job summary

You will interpret engineering drawings, review specifications, coordinate installations, and ensure compliance with FDA/OSHA policies as part of a collaborative team supporting Abbott Nutrition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years working with industrial utilities systems or industrial electrical/mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good verbal communication and technical writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and assist in repairs of equipment, instrumentation, and processes in the area of responsibility.
• Review and write specifications and procedures for equipment, processes and facilities.
• Plan, coordinate, install and perform operational checkouts for equipment and processes.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs in the area of responsibility.
• Act as a technical resource for plant interactions and ensure safety compliance.
