Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 1st shift at our Delphi, Indiana plant. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, supervise a maintenance team, and ensure targets are met to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include leading daily work, coaching on safety and quality, conducting performance reviews, coordinating PMs, and ensuring PPE and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years management/leadership in industrial manufacturing.
• 5+ years maintenance technician experience in processing equipment/electrical systems.
• Knowledge of USDA and HACCP procedures.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work around raw meat.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance team members per procedures.
• Coach on safety, quality/SQF, efficiency, and cost improvements.
• Complete annual performance evaluations for team members.
• Attend roll calls to assign daily work and provide safety reminders.
• Check PPE, Lockout, and GMP/SQF compliance for team members.
• Audit PMs and follow up to ensure quality.
• Develop work lists and ensure parts are on hand; schedule including weekends.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and 5 Minute Downtime Forms daily.
