Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Generalist to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems in our Mississippi plant. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, ensuring food safety, and adhering to Tyson policies while keeping accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, reading manuals and schematics, and performing equipment installations or upgrades as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year maintenance experience within the past 2 years.
• Willingness to undergo background checks per Tyson policy.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and plumbing systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Support emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
