Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a General Maintenance technician for 1st shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and provide technical support for machine systems while maintaining safety standards and PPE usage.

The role requires 1 year of maintenance experience, ability to operate forklifts, and willingness to pass health and drug screenings. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, service on forklifts, shag trucks, and ammonia refrigeration systems, plus responding to calls and ensuring quality

Qualifications

Must have 1 year maintenance experience within the immediate past 2 years.
Ability to pass health assessment and drug screening.
Must be able to operate forklifts and other PIT equipment.

Responsibilities

Complete preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
Maintain and service forklift and power industrial trucks including battery changes.
Maintain and service shag trucks and ammonia refrigeration systems.
Respond to service calls from operations and communicate issues to leadership.
Ensure safety processes are followed and participate in annual food defense training.
Operate PIT and perform physical tasks as required.
