Job summary

Velocity Machine Inc. seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead and coordinate production activities on assigned shifts, ensuring safe and efficient operations on the floor, while partnering with leaders to meet daily goals.

You will monitor machinists and machine operators, drive 100% efficiency, identify bottlenecks, provide training and onboarding, conduct performance reviews, and collaborate across departments to plan workloads, schedule maintenance, and uphold 5S and safety standards for all shifts.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of machining experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma preferred.
• Ability to lead and influence employees positively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate across departments and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide production shift; monitor performance and safety.
• Coordinate cross-functional production activities and priorities.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
• Support training, onboarding, and process improvements.
• Discuss overtime needs and ensure proper code usage.
• Maintain 5S standards and housekeeping; address issues promptly.
