Job summary

API Heat Transfer in Buffalo is seeking a Machine Repair Technician for 1st shift to join a growing transformation in our operations team. The role focuses on repairing, maintaining, and installing various machines throughout the plant to keep production moving.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of machine repair experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, and reads prints for proper repair and installation. Benefits include health and welfare, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent (required).
• 2-5 years Machine Repair experience (required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience reading construction and machine design prints.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, dismantle, rebuild and maintain machines and equipment throughout the plant.
• Diagnose trouble, determine repair methods, and perform installations.
• Plan layout, move and complete work with minimal supervision.
• Work with standard tools and maintain safety standards.
