Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:30am–3:30pm) to oversee critical warehousing and logistics operations.

You will lead a team, ensure quality and safety, and drive improvements across processes and staffing to support reliable customer commitments. The role requires 4+ years of management experience, a Bachelor's in Logistics or related field, and knowledge of AS9100/ISO environments, Lean Six Sigma, and 3PL operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure commitments are met.
• Oversee quality policies and establish procedures to maintain quality objectives.
• Guide supervisors on personnel, quality and safety matters.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively.
• Make recommendations to improve operations.
• Coordinate maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
• Maintain records and timely reports.
• Enforce safety practices and OSHA compliance.
