Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee multiple critical areas ensuring smooth operations. The 1st shift runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a focus on leadership, process improvement and safety.

Responsibilities include guiding supervisors, hiring and developing staff, and coordinating maintenance while upholding GXO quality standards and OSHA compliance. This role requires 4+ years in warehousing and a strong operations mindset.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Flexible schedule including planned and unplanned overtime, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure commitments are met.
• Ensure quality policies are understood and procedures are in place to meet quality objectives.
• Provide guidance to supervisors on personnel, quality and safety.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively.
• Recommend programs to improve operations.
• Manage equipment and coordinate maintenance with the maintenance team.
• Maintain records and generate timely reports.
• Enforce safe work practices in line with OSHA and other standards.
