Job summary

Stored Energy Systems (SENS) is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations in Hatfield, PA, drive lean initiatives, and develop a high-performing team. This role emphasizes coaching, safety, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing activities.

The successful candidate will have a strong electronics manufacturing background, a proven track record of reducing waste, and the ability to balance short-term demands with long-term process development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role (Supervisor, Team Lead, Coordinator, or similar).
• Proven success in improving production processes, reducing waste, and boosting operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in fast-growing, scaling environments with evolving operational frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to meet schedule, throughput, and delivery targets for all aspects of production activities.
• Assign work priorities, coordinate staffing levels, and balance workloads across departments, conducting daily production huddles.
• Monitor production metrics (yield, scrap, cycle time, throughput) and take corrective action as needed.
• Maintain strong presence on the production floor to coach, support, and guide employees, fostering accountability and continuous learning.
• Identify weaknesses in workflows, documentation, and standards; lead initiatives to strengthen processes.
• Implement lean manufacturing tools (5S, standard work, visual controls, root-cause analysis).
• Collaborate with production engineering and leadership teams to improve process flow and efficiency.
• Standardize and document operating procedures to ensure consistency.
• Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards and customer specifications; implement preventative measures.
• Partner with quality and engineering teams to resolve nonconformances and drive corrective actions.
• Reinforce quality culture through training, audits, and daily reinforcement.
• Enforce all company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Lead safety training, conduct audits, and address hazards.
• Foster a culture of safety ownership and cross-training.
• Lead onboarding for new hires and set expectations.
• Conduct regular performance coaching and support development goals.
• Promote an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
