Job summary

Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable General Laborer to join a busy distribution center in Mesquite, TX. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working on their feet, handling materials, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The position offers a daytime schedule Thursday through Sunday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with pay at $17.50 per hour. You will sort, move, and inspect products, work as part of a team, and follow safety procedures to maintain a clean,

Responsibilities

• Sort and organize materials including wooden pallets, boxes, plastic bins, and miscellaneous warehouse materials.
• Hand-sort and stack wooden pallets safely and efficiently.
• Inspect and fold boxes in the break pack area as part of quality control.
• Examine products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Load and unload materials by hand.
• Move materials around the distribution center using pallets, crates, or other approved methods.
• Properly stack and secure materials and verify loads are stable.
• Meet established productivity and production expectations.
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining accountability for assigned responsibilities.
