Job summary

Inland Packaging in La Crosse, WI is seeking a 1st Shift Machine Operator to join our label production team. You will set up and run a label-cutting machine and monitor quality from start to finish, ensuring customer specifications are met.

The position offers on-the-job training, a starting wage of $22.00/hour, and opportunities for advancement. Benefits include PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision/Life Insurance, and a 401(k) with employer match. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree required.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn new technology and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run a machine that cuts labels per customer specs.
• Monitor and manage quality of finished product throughout production.
• Cross-train in other production roles as needed.
• Complete quality assurance checks and raise concerns when appropriate.
• Troubleshoot issues on the line and implement solutions.
• Work effectively as part of a production team to meet goals.
