Job summary

Sinomax USA is seeking a Janitor for our 1st shift to maintain cleanliness across the plant, including offices, bathrooms, and manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and stocking supplies while adhering to GMP/ISO guidelines and safety protocols. Candidates should manage multiple tasks and work with custodial equipment throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Self-driven and able to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to take on tasks, independently, to keep facility in proper condition.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
• Working knowledge of custodial equipment and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas of plant as required, i.e. restrooms, cafeterias, main isles, offices, smoking areas, etc., with approved disinfectants and cleaning supplies.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum on daily basis.
• Empty and remove trash and restock supplies.
• Use a variety of mops, brooms, cleaning supplies, solutions, carts, ladders, power vacuum, and cleaning equipment.
• Observe department’s safety regulations and use PPE as required.
• Adhere to GMP, ISO 9002 regulations and good housekeeping procedures.
• Complete tasks on time and respond to emergency janitorial needs.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Position Description

• Clean designated areas of plant as required, i.e. (restrooms, cafeterias, main isles, offices, smoking areas, etc.) with approved disinfectants and cleaning supplies.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum on daily basis
• Empty and remove trash and restock supplies.
• Use a variety of mops, brooms, cleaning supplies, solutions, carts, ladders, power vacuum, and cleaning equipment.
• Responsible to observe department’s safety regulations and to use personnel protective equipment as required.
• Responsible to adhere to plant policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices [GMP’S], ISO 9002 regulations and good housekeeping procedures.
• Complete tasks on time and thoroughly and respond to emergency janitorial needs.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Approval

The Executive Team (CEO, Controller, Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer, VP of Operations, Human Resources) will be involved in all hires. Team determines need, Human Resources will facilitate the process and select candidates, Controller will verify budget for the position. The position’s direct manager will also be part of the interviewing and decision making process as well as a possible peer.

Work Environment

Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations. Work is performed in a sometimes hot, cold, humid, noisy, industrial environment, and around dust, oil, grease chemicals, and other substances.

Position Schedule

Monday- Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
