Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms across the plant and stock supplies.
• Clean vending areas, break rooms, and reception areas.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in the First Aid Room.
• Remove trash from production areas to the compactor.
• Clean front office, lab, and admin offices on a rotating basis.
• Keep daily checklists and records.
• Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, or quality issues.

Our client, a nationwide leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing, has an immediate need for experienced Janitor / Custodian, to join their growing team in Fairfield.

Our candidate of choice will perform a variety of routine procedures to maintain various plant locations in a clean and orderly condition while following prescribed safety rules and compliance with OSHA regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

• Cleans all restrooms throughout the plant and stocks with necessary supplies – First priority
• Cleans all vending areas, break rooms and reception areas – Second priority
• Cleans and maintains perfect sanitary conditions in the First Aid Room
• Removes all trash from containers in production areas to the compactor
• Cleans front office, lab and administrative offices on a rotating basis
• Keeps necessary records (i.e., daily checklist, etc.)
• Detects and reports improper operation, faulty equipment, inferior quality, and other
• Gives proper care to all equipment used
• Keeps work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition
• Follows prescribed safety rules and complies with OSHA regulations
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
