Job summary
Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support movement of materials, parts, and finished products in our San Diego facility.
You will receive incoming shipments, prepare outbound orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safe, timely shipping to support production schedules and customer deliveries. The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic computer skills with Excel/Word, and cooperation with production, quality, and customer support teams.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years shipping/receiving experience.
- Able to read and understand English work instructions.
- Experience with shipping documentation and inventory records.
- Basic computer skills including Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against orders.
- Count, weigh, and record materials.
- Prepare products for shipment with proper labeling.
- Determine shipping methods to meet delivery needs.
- Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Support hazardous materials handling per safety rules.
