Job summary

American Woodmark Corporation in Toccoa, GA, seeks a Cycle Counter/Scheduler to optimize inventory and scheduling across the plant. The role requires counting raw materials and MRO, creating schedules for Cut to Size, Cross Cut, Rip Saws and Strip Line, and leveraging MRP/ERP systems.

You will work with the Materials Department, report to Materials Supervisor, and support overtime and variable hours. Strong accuracy, teamwork, and computer skills with Word/Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and experience aligned with plant operations and team support.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and willingness to learn new processes.
• Ability to follow corporate and plant policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety compliance in all work environments.
• Perform cycle counts in various plant areas and record accurately.
• Count and record raw materials, MRO materials, and others as needed.
• Learn computer software related to job functions and cycle counting.
• Create schedules for Cut to Size, Cross Cut, Rip Saws and Strip Line.
• Monitor zero orders and yields when scheduling and optimize processes.
