Microbrush International develops, manufactures, and markets innovative disposable dental products focused on restorative dental procedures. Our products are designed to enhance everyday procedures and provide Convenient. Consistent. Control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Issues necessary components (i.e. tray holders, sleeves, printed packaging materials, in-process micro-applicators, etc.) to each shop order.
- Move issued packaging materials to lines by shop order (bottles, trays, caps, rings, boxes, pads, insert labels, etc.)
- Backup to certain warehouse functions including but not limited to shipping via small parcel and LTL methods, receiving inbound freight and distributing goods, picking orders to ship and all associated IFS and other data entry transactions for successful execution of these duties.
- Enter data/information received from shop floor into appropriate systems (primarily IFS), including: KPIs, shop orders, MRB, and OEE
- Produce reports as needed based on data entered.
- Investigate variances, report on traveler accuracy.
- Analyze inventory inaccuracies to determine the cause and take steps to prevent inaccuracies in the future.
- Cycle count 20 to 40 items weekly, investigate variances.
- Coordinate and execute the scheduling of production materials to the shop floor
- Generate and enter ‘travelers’ to support shop floor schedule
- Confirm and generate work instructions for travelers
- Print labels for specific orders/products and place in traveler
RELATED DUTIES:

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training and Experience
- High School Diploma required; 1+ years of prior experience in a production/scheduling capacity in a manufacturing environment or similar experience.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a self- directed manner, as needed
- Good problem solving abilities and analytical skills. Effective organization skills. Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
- Display sound judgement and decision making
- Knowledge of and prior skill in working with ERP systems; IFS a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work standing for 8 hours.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions
Mostly warehouse environment and frequent exposure to manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust and atmospheric conditions. Some office environment in specific situations.
