Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking an Inspector (PDI) to ensure quality standards for vehicles in a high-energy environment. You will inspect lights, doors, locks, windows, and other accessories, perform visual and functional checks, and label vehicles as required.

1st shift is 6am-2pm, with overtime as needed. Applicants should have a good driving record and a valid driver’s license, and be prepared to work in all weather conditions while collaborating with a team to meet production and quality

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and precision in inspections.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work overtime and in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect functionality of lights, doors, locks, windows, and other accessories.
• Perform external/internal visual checks for damage and ensure defect-free vehicles.
• Conduct function checks for buttons, lights, safety features, and other vehicle systems.
• Use scanner to verify correct parts are placed in the vehicle.
• Install required labels and work within a team to meet production and quality goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• PDI employees inspect functionality of lights, doors, locks, windows, and other accessory items.
• Perform external/internal visual checks for damage sending defect free vehicles to the next check.
• Perform function checks as required for every button, light, safety functions, and other functions for each vehicle.
• Utilize scanner to ensure correct pieces are placed in vehicle.
• Install required labels.

Work within a team setting to meet production and quality expectations.

You have a good driving record, valid driver’s license, and your current and past bosses still rave about you!
