Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift in Berwick, PA. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production machinery, blow mold equipment and facility while adhering to GMP practices.

Responsibilities include installing and adjusting blow mold systems, changing molds and neck tooling, inspecting hoses, valves and pumps, and performing welds or fabrications as needed to maintain production readiness and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform calculations.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and monitoring equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics for maintenance tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure proper repairs and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment and facility.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, valves and pumps.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all related equipment and keep machines in optimal condition.
• Weld, fabricate and repair various machines as needed.
• Troubleshoot root causes and repair blow mold, baggers and support equipment.
