Job summary

Altium Packaging in York, Pennsylvania is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, repair and maintain blow mold and related equipment. You will ensure safety compliance and perform preventive maintenance, with a 12hr-C shift schedule and frequent interdepartmental collaboration.

The role includes troubleshooting, welding and fabricating, and may involve operating blow mold or injection machines. Overtime may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills are essential.

• Ability to propose process improvements when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot, locate root problems and repair equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments regularly.
• Duties may vary by plant based on equipment and design.
• Receive task instructions from Lead Technician or Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
