Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Berwick, PA. You will perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and blow mold equipment while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing blow mold lines, tool changes, hose/valve work, welding, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Overtime may be required based on plant needs.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold and neck tooling changes; replace hoses, valves and pumps as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all related equipment and ensure machines are in optimal condition.
• Weld, fabricate and repair various machines; troubleshoot and locate root causes of issues.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines; communicate with other departments regularly.
