Job summary

Sunny Sky Products, LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (1st shift) in Chicago, IL to maintain plant equipment and facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and collaborate with the Production Supervisor to ensure uptime.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, technical training in mechanical/electrical fields, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting safety standards.

Qualifications

• Technical training in mechanical and/or electrical fields.
• 3 - 5 years previous experience required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule.
• Repair and adjust plant facilities and equipment as needed.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential issues.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
• Oversee contractors on-site for maintenance and facility activities.
