Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) for a state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility in Hazelwood, MO. The role involves high-level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs across high-speed production lines.

You'll work with packaging, slicing, and manufacturing equipment, upholding FDA, USDA, OSHA safety and quality standards. Competitive pay and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 2+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance in a food manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with 120V–480V 3-phase electrical systems, multimeters, schematics, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to read and understand English to follow safety protocols and work orders
• Welding experience and ability to operate a drill press and lathe
• Reliability with attendance and transportation to Hazelwood, MO

Responsibilities

• Electrical troubleshooting across facility and machinery using schematics and multimeters
• Disassemble, repair, and overhaul pumps and packaging machinery; perform preventive maintenance
• Fabricate replacement parts with welding and machine shop tools
• Install and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and general piping systems
• Adhere to safety: LOTO, OSHA, FDA, USDA, GMP standards
