Job summary

Vestis is seeking a 1st Shift Wash Operator to join our industrial laundry facility in Wisconsin. You will work as part of a team to safely and efficiently process merchandise through washers and dryers, using batch tickets and sling handling. Attention to safety and quality is essential.

Responsibilities include loading equipment, recording weights, verifying batch tickets, monitoring moisture, and keeping work areas clean. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow required training, written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate washers/dryers safely after safety checks.
• Load and unload merchandise using slings and batch tickets.
• Document batch information and monitor moisture/temperature.
• Identify damaged slings and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow shift schedule and overtime as needed.
