Job summary

QubicaAMF Worldwide LLC is seeking a safety-conscious welder to join our production team. You will weld various components used in bowling equipment and ensure work aligns with blueprints and specifications.

The role demands the ability to handle large parts and operate fabrication tools in a fast-paced warehouse setting. The job requires MIG/TIG welding experience, adherence to safety protocols, and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
  • MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and perform basic math.
  • Must be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Weld various production parts as part of manufacturing bowling equipment.

Job description

QubicaAMF Worldwide LLC is looking for a safety-conscious welder to weld various production products used in the manufacturing of bowling equipment, such as Pin-spotters, Lane Cleaning Machines, Ball Returns, Furniture bases, and String Machines.

  • Weld various production products.
  • Maintain Company Quality Standards.
  • Assist in the construction and repair of jigs and fixtures.
  • Learn and operate various fabrication equipment.
  • Follows and maintains knowledge of safety protocol.
  • Consults blueprints to execute jobs and tasks to specification.
Essential Functions

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfy each essential duty. The listed requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Ability to read drawings of 3-dimensional parts and to understand simple mathematical equations.

  • A high school degree or equivalent.
  • Use to handling large parts on your own.
  • Must have MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
  • Knowledge of welding methods for various types of metal.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints.
  • Skill in using and caring for welding tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Must be a Team Player.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Requires a high school diploma.
  • Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift overhead and handle large parts.
  • Must be able to work the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, and overtime when required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse environment with elevated noise, dust, and activity. This is a non-temperature-controlled warehouse where temperatures can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. There is frequent exposure to moving parts.

TRAVEL REQUIRED:
  • No travel is required.

$20 - $25 biweekly
