Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Oklahoma City is seeking a Mold Operator to operate molding machines and produce quality parts per customer specifications. This role emphasizes adherence to Hubbell's Quality Operating Principles, safety policies, and efficient production.

You will work as part of a team to maintain throughput, follow procedures, and ensure part quality while complying with workplace safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Set machine controls and regulate molding temperature, plastic volume, pressure and time to meet specs.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area and follow PPE requirements.
  • Follow safety policies and immediately report unsafe activity or accidents.
  • Maintain production throughput and meet part quantity requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Operates mold machine process in a method to produce quality parts at the productivity rate that is in accordance to customer specifications using the Hubbell Power Systems Quality Operating Principles and the most current Quality System.

  • Set machine controls, regulating molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure and time, according to knowledge of plastics and molding procedures.
  • Follow Company safety and break policies, work in a safe manner, follow directions, and wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Immediately report any unsafe activity or accident to area Supervisor.
  • Keep area clean, follow good housekeeping practices.
  • Work in an efficient manner maintaining part shift through/put quantity requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
