Job summary

Responsibilities

• Set machine controls for temperature, plastic volume, pressure and cycle time per molding procedures.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and report unsafe acts to supervisor.
• Keep the work area clean and maintain good housekeeping.
• Work efficiently to meet part throughput and production targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Operates mold machine process in a method to produce quality parts at the productivity rate that is in accordance to customer specifications using the Hubbell Power Systems Quality Operating Principles and the most current Quality System.

• Set machine controls, regulating molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure and time, according to knowledge of plastics and molding procedures.
• Follow Company safety and break policies, work in a safe manner, follow directions, and wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Immediately report any unsafe activity or accident to area Supervisor.
• Keep area clean, follow good housekeeping practices.
• Work in an efficient manner maintaining part shift through/put quantity requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
